Botox

A refreshed look that still moves naturally.

Procedure overview

Neuromodulator injections relax the small muscles responsible for expression lines — such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet — softening their appearance without affecting the rest of the face.

Results build in gradually over several days and are temporary, which allows the approach to be fine-tuned over successive sessions.

The patient pathway

  1. 01

    Consultation

Facial movement patterns and areas of concern are assessed to plan a natural-looking, individualised treatment.

  2. 02

    Treatment

A series of small injections are administered directly into the targeted muscles, typically taking 10 to 15 minutes.

  3. 03

    Settling period

Results begin to appear within a few days and fully develop over about two weeks.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

A review is offered at around two weeks to assess results, with maintenance sessions typically every 3 to 4 months.

Questions patients ask

Does the treatment hurt?

Discomfort is minimal and brief, often compared to a small pinch; a numbing cream can be used if preferred.

How long do results last?

Typically 3 to 4 months, after which the effect gradually fades and muscle movement returns.

Will my face look frozen?

The aim is a natural, soft result that preserves expression — dosing is tailored to avoid an overly frozen appearance.

Is there any downtime?

None — most patients resume normal activities immediately, with only a small risk of temporary redness at injection points.
