Procedure Overview
A skin graft transfers a thin layer of skin from a donor site to cover a defect where direct closure or a local flap isn't suitable, typically following removal of a larger or deeper lesion. The graft relies on the wound bed for blood supply as it heals in place.

How the treatment works
