Procedure Overview
A brow lift raises a low or heavy brow that can contribute to a tired or stern appearance, and can also ease hooding over the upper eyelids. Modern techniques favour a subtle, natural repositioning rather than a dramatically raised, 'surprised' look.
IDEAL FOR
Patients with a low or heavy brow contributing to a tired or stern appearance.
How the treatment works
01
First consultation
Brow position, forehead skin and muscle activity are assessed to determine the right technique and expected lift.
02
Planning
Technique (endoscopic, temporal, or direct) and incision placement are discussed based on hairline and skin quality.
03
The procedure
Usually performed under general anaesthesia or sedation, typically 1 to 2 hours.
04
Recovery & follow-up
Stitches or staples are removed within 10-14 days, with swelling and bruising settling over 2-3 weeks.
