Procedure Overview
A breast lift raises and reshapes breasts that have lost firmness due to pregnancy, weight change or ageing, without necessarily changing their volume. It's often combined with augmentation for patients who want both a lift and added volume, though it can be performed entirely on its own.
IDEAL FOR
Patients whose breasts have lost firmness or position due to pregnancy, weight change or ageing.
How the treatment works
01
First consultation
Degree of sagging, skin elasticity and goals are assessed to determine the most suitable lift technique.
02
Planning
Incision pattern, expected scarring and whether augmentation should be combined are discussed. Surgery date is confirmed.
03
The procedure
Performed under general anaesthesia, typically 2 to 3 hours, usually as day surgery or a short overnight stay.
04
Recovery & follow-up
A support garment is worn for several weeks, with review appointments at 1, 6 and 12 weeks.
