Procedure Overview
A Brazilian Butt Lift uses liposuction to remove fat from other areas of the body, which is then purified and re-injected into the buttocks to enhance shape and volume. Because it uses the patient's own fat rather than implants, the donor areas are also contoured as part of the same procedure.

The procedure
Performed under general anaesthesia, typically 2 to 3 hours, usually with a short overnight stay.

Sitting and lying on the back are restricted for a period after surgery; a compression garment is worn, with review at 1, 6 and 12 weeks.
