Procedure Overview
Blepharoplasty removes or repositions excess skin, muscle and fat around the upper and/or lower eyelids, addressing a heavy, tired appearance or, in some cases, impaired vision from hooded lids. Upper and lower eyelid surgery can be performed separately or together, depending on what's actually contributing to the appearance.
IDEAL FOR
Patients with heavy, tired-looking eyelids caused by excess skin or fat around the eyes.
How the treatment works

02
Planning

03
The procedure
Usually performed under local anaesthesia with sedation, lasting 1 to 2 hours, typically ambulatory.
04
Recovery & follow-up
Stitches are removed after about a week, with bruising and swelling settling over 2-3 weeks.
